I like to keep an open mind and heart about everything in life. A phrase I once read stands out in my mind the most - "Thinking will not overcome fear, but action will".

Favorite artists range from Madonna, Katy Perry to Usher, The Isley Brothers to Rick Springfield, Fleetwood Mac to Etta James, Aretha Franklin to Reba McEntire, Taylor Swift to Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin to Enya, Bjork to Ravel's Bolero. If I hear music regardless of who's singing or what language it's sung in and it's pleasing to my soul then that's what I like.
I like to take my time getting to know someone. Friendships are very important to me and should be the basis of a lasting relationship. One can have many friends, but it's the real connection to the other that counts the most and is hardest to find.
Well, that’s enough about me. Time to learn about you. What do you like to do? If you could make any wish come true, what would it be? Could you still make it happen if given the chance? The first thing that should be said is I am looking only for friendship as I have a fiance. im not really sure how i ended up here. but im at a stage in my life where i need to reinvent myself. i need to finally take some me time and focus. its not always easy to do which is why its important to have friends. and since my friends have been extremely distant (not literally) it leaves me feeling somewhat alone. so im looking for new friends and now is the perfect time to do it. i dont like being the only one making an effort to keep a freindship alive. sooo, time to cut out those who dont care right? and im excited to meet people from all over!
there are a million layers to me, and quite honestly, im a little too lazy to sit here and describe them all lol. but in a nutshell, there are two things that are most important to me. always have been and always will be. first if my family (and mine is HUGE). and second is my music. other than my family, music is the reason i get up in the morning. its my passion and my life. but now that thats out of the way.... lol..... im complicated and simple at the same time. i know that sounds tremendously vague but i really dont know how else to explain it. im easily amused and find happiness in the smaller things in life. im eclectic and cultured. i like to try new things and meet new people. im a hopeless romantic and like to do things out of the ordinary when it comes to romance. and i pride myself on being a great and loyal friend.
ive been through so much in my life that i make for an interesting conversationalist. im a great listener. im a big nerd so its a turn on for me when someone can stimulate my mind.
basically, i march to the beat of my own drum. im the type of person you either love or hate. either way, it doesnt really matter to me. and i say that because i have learned the hard way not to care about what other people think of me. all that matters is that i love myself.
and now that ive practically written a book, im going to stop boring you, uhh, i mean typing. but i hope ive caught enough of your attention to make you want to at least say hello :-)
