Pictures... A snapshot of us in one instant, not a reflection of us as a whole, growing, complete person. Profiles... A fleeting description of mini-parts of us, and reflecting us only as we are at the moment of writing. But there is so much more to us, to you and to me, than pictures and profiles. Depths we cannot put into words, heights we have reached but cannot describe, landscapes of our hearts and seasons of our souls, sunrises and sunsets that have made us smile and made us cry, the beauty of a winter storm, the whisper of a summer rain... the peace and comfort we find in each others arms, holding each others hands, caressing each others cheeks.
Peace is what I seek. Love is what I want. Laughter is what I need. I am a dreamer and at the same time, realistic about life. I have lived and loved, lost and found, taken risks and held back, laughed and cried, held and been held. At my age I realize that we all carry some baggage, but in that baggage are the experiences that make us who we are today, so let us not throw the baggage away, let us celebrate it and the lessons we have learned from it, and then place it lovingly in the archives of our life and move on into the light of new experiences.
I am a woman who loves to laugh. I can also be very deep and serious. I have a lot of love and caring to give, and I ache to find the very special woman who will join me on my journey.
